Introduction to Nondimensionalization
Nondimensionalization is a simple, but exceedingly useful tool that helps you reduce differential equations to their natural forms. It helps you 'get rid of' unnecessary parameters, and lets you zero in on what's important. In this video, I show the basic technique behind nondimensionalization and supplement that technique with a useful example. Questions? Let me know in the comments. Prereqs: Basic (1st-order) ODEs.
