Fr Tom DiLorenzo passed away and went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2026. This ride to the homeless ministry is from January 2026. His inspiring life has positively affected countless amounts of people through his priesthood, his radio broadcast station "IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON", his homeless ministry and his many, many, other ministries that he tended to for more than 5 decades. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He never turned anyone away. He would welcome and seek out the least among us. Sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, caring for the addicted, comforting the weak, tending to the afflicted and much more while serving out his priestly duties. Father truly emptied himself everyday of himself and filled himself up with Jesus Christ. One of my many episodes with Fr Tom: Father helped me raise my best friend out of a coma in 2014 - I franticly ran to him and told him "we need a miracle" my friend is in a coma and the family has to decide what to do. I said, "Father, my car is outside let's go to Brigham and woman's hospital and raise his out of a coma" Father Tom looked at me and said, "I can't go right now, I have people making sandwiches & food for the homeless, I have my radio show in an hour or so, YOU GO!, You go raise your friend out of the coma!" I said, "I can't how am I suppose to do that? You are the miracle priest". He looked at my deeply and grabbed me with is big but gentle hands by the shoulders and pulled me close to him and began praying...stronger and stronger and eventually into tongues. He said now go, and I said "no" and he looked at me with a deep conviction and pulled me in again and prayed with even more power...and then it happened, I felt the Holy Spirit all around us, the mist covered the two of us and at that point he gently pushed me away and said, "Now go! Allow Jesus to use your hands and touch your friend on the head and raise him out of the coma, in the name of Jesus". I made a bee line to the hospital, grabbed my friend by the hand and said, "Bobby, I just came from Father Tom's church and he prayed over me. He said to allow Jesus to use my hands to get you out of this coma. I'm going to put my hands on your head and Jesus is going to use my hands to help you...ok, here it goes Bobby". I reached both hand over his head and pressed them on his skull and said "JESUS!" and at that very second...Bobby's eyes opened up and his head turned to me like a new born baby and he was out of his coma! The nurses came in and began giving him ice chips, tickling his foot with the pen to make sure he had sensation and HE WAS BACK!!! Thank you Jesus!! Alleluia!!! Thank you Father Tom!
