We Finally Started Building Our Traditional Oak Frame Garage | Episode 1

For this week's episode of My Tiny Estate, we're embarking on one of the most exciting projects we've ever undertaken here at the Dower House... and it all begins with a hole in the ground. But before the diggers arrive, we wanted to share something we've been thinking about a lot recently: how to make living in a large historic home more sustainable and affordable in the long term. Like many families, rising energy costs have forced us to rethink how we use and improve our home. Dean sits down to talk honestly about the reality of our electricity bills and the small but meaningful steps we're taking to reduce them — from introducing battery storage to exploring the potential of solar energy.
