'Blue Bayou' - Duo Astral Plane - Cover song - with David Hartley

Am really happy to have recorded this song , which is not an easy one to cover especially vocally. A smash hit for the late great Roy Orbison in the early 60's and then again for Linda Ronstadt in the late 70's....We based our version on the laid-back feel of her track which soon became her 'signature' song. The extra 'something' on our recording is provided by David Hartley on Pedal Steel Guitar. David is recognised as one of the best Country steel players around and was often seen on TV in the 80's, backing the top American artists that came over to perform at the International Country Music Festival at Wembley every year. We hope that some friends might enjoy our version of this beautiful song.
