BNSF and Tacoma Rail Yard Switching - Tacoma, WA

1/4/20 It was a windy day in the yard that Saturday, and 2 Heritage 1 GP38-2s were working the yard local at the West end. Suddenly out of nowhere, Tacoma Rail's Muni-Tacoma Yard interchange train pops up at River st pulling a big load of mixed freight cars. Usually this train will have just two MP15s, but this time they were packing 2 SD70ACe-P4s and an SD45 carbody sandwiched in-between. They even pulled up to 21st street to do a big shove into the yard where the Tacoma Dome is seen in the background. Pretty slow moving action but the catch was worth it. ©2020 TNRP Video
