Liberty Herbicide Tank Mix Partner: Enlist One Herbicide

BASF and Corteva have teamed up to promote Liberty herbicide as the preferred glufosinate herbicide in the Enlist weed control system, which allows farmers to use Liberty herbicide, glyphosate, and Corteva's proprietary 2,4-D choline herbicides for controlling weeds in their soybeans. This provides farmers with an excellent tank mix opportunity with Enlist One and Liberty herbicide to control tough broadleaf weeds like waterhemp and Palmer amaranth. The tank mix of Enlist One plus Liberty herbicide offers improved weed control over the tank mix of Enlist One plus glyphosate, and a broader spectrum of control from the combination of Enlist One and Liberty than you would see with either one alone. BASF and Corteva recommend a select list of approved nozzles for the combination of Liberty herbicide and Enlist One that reduce the number of driftable fines while maintaining effective weed control. The recommended application rate is 32 fluid ounces of Enlist One plus 32 fluid ounces of Liberty herbicide, applied up until the R1 growth stage within soybeans. The tank mix combination of Enlist One plus Liberty herbicide offers over 90% control of three to four-inch pigweed, which is 15% better than the combination of Enlist One plus glyphosate.
