Creating a Risograph Comic Zine

I’m creating a 32 page zine from start to finish. I start by drawing every page in Procreate and color it. Once thats’s done, I do color separations in Photoshop before exporting to InDesign for the final layout. Next it’s on to the printing. The hard part is that Riso is imperfect, so you’ll never get that perfect alignment no matter how hard you try. It’s a very freeing process for perfectionists like me, there’s only so close to perfection that you can get. There are 50 zines in the first edition. All printed with black and green Risograph ink. The zines are proudly printed at the SVA RisoLAB All Art and Animation done by Kitsch Harris.
