LA WIS WIS NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND REVIEW | MT. RAINIER MOSSEY OASIS

This video we are at La Wis Wis National Forest campground outside of Packwood, Washington on the south side of Mount Rainier in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Come with us as we give you that site by site review and show you the gems and the just ok sites. This campground is extremely popular due to being close to Mount Rainier and right off of Highway 12. There are plenty of loops here that the campground that offer everything from river front sites to some great mossy overgrowth viewing. La Wis Wis is typically a smaller RV campground so not many sites over 25-30 feet long. If you have a short trailer, tent, Van or compact setup this campground is for you to some amazing Northwest camping. At this campground you are just 20 min away from Packwood and nestled well below highway 12 , which makes this campground one of the quietest campgrounds in the area. It also boast some great recreation with some hiking trails to a network of waterfalls and also gives you that access to the “Blue Hole”, which is one of the prettiest greenish blue rivers you will ever see. All within short hiking distance of the Main campground. Overall this has been one of our favorite Pacific Northwest campgrounds to explore and provides so much for everyone for relaxing to adventure and to make those awesome memories.
