The village jeweler has been robbed for the second time. The mayor sets out to investigate with two inspectors. Gert had promised Alberto to keep items belonging to the opera company in the cellar. When the officers arrive with the mayor and look through the opera company's belongings, they find something that could get Alberto and Gert into trouble.
