This project is dedicated to the vast number of people who have shopped and treasured Randall Park Mall, and this video was created to remember... Randall Park Mall was a central part of my life growing up in the 1980's, and it was my place of escapism over the weekends. It was also a place where many people faithfully shopped, and it served a vital role in the community. The song in this project is called, "Subdivisions." Originally written and recorded by Rush, it was rerecorded by Anita Athavale. (Please see her link below...) This song speaks about the reality of growing up in suburban life, and I felt it really made a connection with the images in this video.
