During the construction of the Wushantou Reservoir (1920-1930), 68 Japanese-style dormitories were built, providing housing for 234 construction workers and their families. Most of these dormitories have since disappeared or are dilapidated. After the establishment of the Hatta Yoichi Memorial Park, four Japanese-style buildings were restored, including the Tanaka and Ichikawa residences, the Hatta residence, the Akahori residence, and the Abe residence. The Hatta residence was where Hatta Yoichi lived during the construction of the Wushantou Reservoir.
