In this video we're exploring the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia and we're spending a couple of days around Sheet Harbour. This is our first time exploring this area and had such a great time exploring everything that the Eastern Shore has to offer. This video is sponsored by Nova Scotia Tourism. Find out more and play your trip to Nova Scotia here: https://www.novascotia.com We start things off in the centre of Sheet Harbour at the Artists of the Eastern Shore Park and the West River Falls. The falls are absolutely stunning and very easy to access, especially for people that don't want to go on a long hike to access waterfalls. While there we had the most amazing picnic provided by the Marmalade Motel (it's an add on for all their guests). After finishing our picnic we headed up the road to Taylor Head Provincial Park to visit the beach there for the first time. We had heard absolutely amazing things about this beach and it didn't disappoint (it looks very much like the Caribbean with white sand and clear water), even on a somewhat foggy day it still looked incredible. We then head back to the Marmalade Motel to give a tour of our room. We also had the fun experience of making our own pizza in their outdoor pizza oven. Pizza night is an add on you can do if you're staying at the motel. https://www.novascotia.com/places-to-... We pick things up the next day where head out on a boat tour with Sober Island Boat Tours. The tour took about 1.5 hours and went around the 100 Wild Islands. We saw so many different types of birds (including eagles), seals and even a whale! https://www.novascotia.com/see-do/tou...
