Rainy Weather Forecast for Next few Days in Pakistan || Crop Reformer

Pakistan is likely to experience a significant change in weather during the next few days as a new weather system affects many parts of the country. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), dust storms, strong winds, and rain-thunderstorms are expected from 16 to 20 June, bringing relief from the recent intense heatwave in several regions. Upper Punjab, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and surrounding districts, is expected to receive scattered rain and thunderstorms. Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat, and the Potohar region may experience stronger weather activity with gusty winds and localized heavy rainfall. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Swat, Dir, Chitral, Abbottabad, Mansehra, and other northern districts, rain-thunderstorms are forecast during the period. Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir are also expected to receive widespread rainfall, with the possibility of isolated heavy falls in some mountainous areas. Parts of Balochistan, especially Zhob, Quetta, Khuzdar, and nearby regions, may receive rain accompanied by strong winds. In Sindh, districts such as Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, and Ghotki are expected to receive thunderstorms, while Karachi and Hyderabad are more likely to experience dusty and windy conditions with only limited chances of rainfall. Farmers should remain alert as strong winds, hailstorms, and heavy downpours may affect standing crops in some areas. Travelers to northern regions should also stay updated on weather advisories due to the risk of landslides and temporary road disruptions. Overall, the upcoming rain spell is expected to reduce temperatures and provide much-needed relief from the ongoing hot weather across many parts of Pakistan.
