The second episode of the documentary "A Day in the Life of a Pastor in Ukraine" highlights the humanitarian mission of Brazilian pastor Rafael Bagatoli and his wife, Mariana Bagatoli. After the start of the war, the couple sought refuge in Poland, but chose to return to Kyiv to continue supporting the victims of the conflict. Members of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, they focus their efforts in the capital and the outskirts of Bucha, one of the regions most devastated by the armed conflict. At the church headquarters, Rafael and Mariana offer an essential shelter, where the local population can find food, hot showers, and electricity to charge cell phones. The couple reports that severe inflation is one of the biggest daily challenges for Ukrainians, with the price of some foods jumping almost tenfold since the beginning of the fighting. Despite the critical economic situation and constant risks, they maintain an unwavering commitment to social assistance in the country.
