This Friday, Mixmag will be getting down with Karizma's alter ego, Kaytronik. Kaytronik - Karizma's bouncier, house-heavier alias - joins The Lab NYC fresh off the release of his first Kaytronik-branded album. 'Thee Album' arrived on R2 Records this past March with 17 original tracks showcasing the Baltimore artist's house, hip-hop and jazz flavors. Kris Klayton first stepped into the limelight in the mid-90's when he joined The Basement Boys, a seminal Baltimore music group made famous by producing for stars like Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul and Erykah Badu. Since then, he has remixed and worked with a number of top shelf talent including Catz N Dogz and Seven Davis Jr. and most recently finished his APAC Tour earlier this year with Pioneer DJ.
