A woman in Antalya's Kumluca district, who injured her right knee while playing sports two years ago, was operated on the wrong knee by a doctor at a private hospital. Forced to undergo surgery on her injured knee at another hospital, Özdemir initiated a legal battle and, in May of this year, obtained a forensic medical report proving the doctor's mistake.
