This Georgia Distillery Wins More Awards Than Any Craft Bourbon in America

Atlanta wasn't supposed to be a bourbon town. Kentucky has the history. The heritage. The rickhouses that have been standing longer than most families have existed. Atlanta had one guy, a horse barn, a still he built at Ace Hardware, and a grandfather who used to run moonshine into the city. Since 2018, ASW Distillery has won more awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition than any other craft distillery in America. Not in Georgia. In America. We got inside their barrel room, tasted straight from single barrels, went through ruby port finishes, cognac finishes, sherry finishes — and watched a bourbon that tastes like cheesecake get blended with one that tastes like tobacco. It shouldn't work. It absolutely does. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🥃 TIMESTAMPS 00:00 — Introduction 02:50 — Distillery Tour 09:00 — Tasting Barrels 26:42 — Outro ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔔 Subscribe to Whiskey Library for more deep dives into the world's most interesting distilleries. 📸 Instagram:   / drinkwhiskeylibrary   🌐 Website: https://whiskeylibrary.com ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ #WhiskeyLibrary #ASWDistillery #AtlantaBourbon #GeorgiaBourbon #CraftBourbon #CraftWhiskey #BourbonBarrelPick #SingleBarrel #BarrelPick #BourbonFinish #RubyPort #CognacFinish #SherryFinish #FiddlerBourbon #AwardWinningBourbon #BestCraftBourbon #BourbonNotKentucky #SouthernBourbon #WhiskeyVlog #BourbonVlog #BourbonTour #DistilleryTour #BehindTheScenes #MoonshineToLegend
