English version of the episode:    • Chronicle of the accident at Chornobyl Uni...   The film is based on the ChNPP archives, investigation materials, after emergency studies, monographs, and memories of the immediate participants in the liquidation of the accident at Unit 4 of the Chernobyl NPP. The story about how in the conditions of high radiation fields of power engineering localized an accident on the 4th unit, how an emergency stop of three operating RBMK units was carried out, the equipment was taken out of operation, with complete dampening of the systems and the reactor core. All this and many other things became possible due to the maximum concentration of forces, will, knowledge and professional skill of all workers of the station, at all levels: from the chief of the block change to the equipment man, from SIUR and DEM to decontamers and special-purpose workers. This film is dedicated to everyone who worked and works at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
