Demolition has begun on a landmark house located in Santo Tomé, near the Puente Carretero bridge, as part of the construction of the new bridge that will connect to the city of Santa Fe. The work is progressing rapidly and is a key component of a project to improve traffic flow on a corridor used by more than 40,000 vehicles daily. The property was reportedly acquired by the government, and its owners have already been compensated. The new traffic plan involves reorganizing the flow of traffic between the two bridges to expedite traffic and prevent gridlock during peak hours or in the event of incidents.
