Ηλεκτρόλυση με ηλεκτροκόλληση How to clean rusty tools with welding machine

Προσοχή δεν αφήνουμε πολύ ώρα σας ευχαριστώ In this short video, I experiment with my 72V welding machine, and I try to clean a rusty pliers I had lying around. I filled a glass jar with tap water and added a spoonfull of baking soda, and then attached a cabbinet hinge to one electrode, (as a sacrificial element, to take the rust) and the rusty pliers on another, and hanged them on the sides, so as not to touch each other. The wires I use are copper, taken from houshold electric wiring. I attach the pisitive clamp on the rusty item, and the negative to the hinge, and low and behold, the rust came off the pliers and wend to the hinge. Of course you'll have to sacryfise one thing in order to clean another, but it's a fair traid off if the sacryficed item is of no use. No need to leave them for a long time, I only left them for 3 minutes and the water turned black as you can see. And the cool thing is that the rust was removed from all hidden places, and even the spring works fine. A bit of cleaning afterwards with carb cleaner or other agent, to remove the black residue, and the tool works like new. We can even apply a layer of anti rust spray to keep it clean. No need for high amperage in this case, so I lowered the amps to the lowest setting. Good job. Thanks for watching, and if you like what you see, consider subscribing.
