Konstantin Rudnev, an unassuming graduate of the Novosibirsk Mechanical Engineering College, proclaimed himself a messiah, created a harem of young women, and founded one of the most notorious destructive cults in the country—the "Ashram of Shambhala." Rudnev deceived his followers with insane practices, exhausting them with a so-called "wolf diet." He forced women to participate in orgies and treated men like slaves. This savage cult had over 15,000 followers, and the network of "Ashram of Shambhala" branches spread across Russia and even abroad. Rudnev was arrested three times, but each time he managed to escape punishment. In 2010, he was finally sentenced to 11 years in prison. But the cult's story didn't end there. After the arrest of the "great teacher," a power struggle began among the followers of the "Ashram of Shambhala." The cult split into several factions, changed its format, and "disappeared" amidst a multitude of courses on enhancing femininity or strengthening masculine potency. In the third episode of the series, we begin an investigation into the activities of the sect's modern branches, which are still recruiting new followers.
