The Carro Esporte Clube visited Togliatti, a city near Samara, Russia, which was founded for one purpose: to house the new Soviet car factory and its employees. Today, of the city's 800,000 residents, 110,000 work at Lada. We visited the museum, which houses models that marked Lada's history. You'll see the assembly line and check out our test drive with a brand new Niva on asphalt and dirt. The model was launched in 1977 and is still produced today with virtually no changes.
