What to know about NJ's Anchor property-tax relief deadline

Applications for this year’s Anchor property-tax benefit are being automatically filed for about 1.5 million eligible residents who previously received the benefit. However, there's a deadline of Sept. 15 for renters and homeowners to update any personal information that has changed -- things like mailing address or banking details.
