Mio Imada and Koji Yamamoto have been appointed as Ariel's new image characters, appearing in the new TV commercials for the new product, "Ariel Gel Ball Pro," in the "Completely Easy Detergent: Ariane (Cleaning)" and "Completely Easy Detergent: Ariane (Indoor Drying)" versions. The commercials will air nationwide from Thursday, February 13th, and the commercials, along with behind-the-scenes footage and interview footage, have been released. Ariel, a laundry detergent brand, has adopted the brand philosophy of "making the impossible possible" and has adopted the brand message of "Ariel, the Laundry Science." As user expectations for detergent change year by year, the company has revamped its long-standing "laundry science" to better suit modern times, while still emphasizing the scientific aspect. This revamped series marks the first time in approximately 12 years that the brand has made its commercials more accessible, trustworthy, and reliable. The commercials are set at the Ariel Research Institute, which aims to use the power of science to smartly solve busy daily laundry problems. The story follows the dialogue between the passionate and positive protagonist, a young researcher (Imada Mio), and her boss, nicknamed "Director Ariane" (Yamamoto Koji), who has outdated ideas about laundry.
