DRC: Félix Tshisekedi Renews Leadership in Several Strategic Public Enterprises The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi, has made a new series of appointments within several strategic public enterprises and institutions in the country. The presidential decrees, read on Wednesday, June 3, on the airwaves of the Congolese National Radio and Television (RTNC), formalize the renewal of the leadership teams of numerous public entities operating in the economic, fiscal, entrepreneurial, industrial, and administrative sectors. Among the institutions involved are the Congolese Entrepreneurship Guarantee Fund (FOGEC), the Agency for the Promotion of the Congolese Middle Class (APROCM), the Congolese Control Office (OCC), the National Agency for the Development of Congolese Entrepreneurship (ANADEC), the Special Economic Zones Agency (AZES), the Directorate General of Industrial Development Corridors (DGCDI), the Multimodal Freight Management Office (OGEFREM), the Mining Fund for Future Generations (FOMIN), the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP), the Insurance Regulatory and Control Agency (ARCA), and the National Population Identification Office (ONIP). Within the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), Barnabé Muakadi Mwamba retains his position as Director General, now assisted by Bobine Muderwa and Kabwa Kalumba Maurice as Deputy Directors General. These new appointments come amid ongoing institutional and economic reforms aimed at strengthening public governance, improving the performance of state-owned enterprises, and increasing their contribution to the economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
