Joel 2:1-11 | The Prophet Joel Explained | The Day of the Lord
In Joel 2:1-11, the prophet Joel describes a fearsome, unstoppable army on the attack, headed straight for the city of Jerusalem. What's most interesting about this army is who is at the head of it leading the attack against Jerusalem. Who is leading the attack? That's part of what we'll discuss in this teaching on Joel 2:1-11. Also, in Joel 2:1-11, the prophet Joel again mentions the Day of the Lord. He describes the day of the Lord as a day of darkness, dense clouds and overall gloom and doom. The day of the Lord will be so bad that at the end of Joel 2:1-11, the prophet says "Who can endure it?" The answer, of course, is nobody.
