Ventilator

This is a piece of gloomy, hopeless dark ambient that I wrote in 2016 for an AmbientOnline compilation. It came together quite quickly, taking on a life of its own during the "composition" process, which seemed to require little guidance from me. In early 2022, I remixed the track, focussing on the EQ and levelling, but also took the opportunity to revamp the SampleTank Vox., with a little help from PaulStretch. I also added a subtle ACE bass synth and swapped the original BlackHole reverb for Aether, before releasing it on my "Pyroglyphs" album in 2023. #dark #ambient #electronic #synths #samples
