Fall Of The Log VARIATIONS | solo jazz dance move

In this video, we will look at 70+ variations on Fall of the Log. Let me remind you that it is one of the most popular movements in solo jazz and charleston. The classic Fall of the Log lasts eight - four counts in one direction and four in the other. When constructing variations, we will rely on the ability to replace almost every movement in this set, but nevertheless, to leave it recognizable. Of course, these options are not exclusive. The list should be enlarged and new combinations created. Maybe over time I will gather more variations (there are already a dozen) and expand the video to even more complex and interesting combinations. But do not rush ;) I repeat almost all the variations twice so that you can try to dance them with me. Have a nice workout! And don't forget to like the video ;) 00:00 | Intro to music 00:42 | Here are some basic principles for constructing variation 02:59 | Examples to music - 4/4 04:30 | Options for hand work 05:51 | Examples to music 8/8 08:13 | More examples 10:27 | Principles of constructing complex variations 11:34 | BONUS forgotten variations Music: at the beginning and end: Jive at Five - The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra    • Jive at Five   02:59 - Goody Goody feat.
