SRAM XDR freehub body conversion

SRAM's new AXS groupset requires an XDR freehub body. Micah from SRAM was at Frostbike to show us how to replace an 11 speed freehub with an XDR driver on one of their Zipp wheels. The XDR Freehub body has been around since mid-2015, but this is the first time a group set “requires” it. 11-Speed HG is 1.8mm longer than 10-Speed HG. XDR has the the same length discrepancy compared to XD. If your hub was made for a 11-Speed HG an XDR freehub body will fit if XDR is available from the manufacturer. Some Brands Supporting XDR: Zipp, SRAM, DT Swiss (and by association high-end Roval, Bontrager, Giant wheels) , Chris King, I9, White Industries, Mavic, Onyx, Fulcrum The video is how to upgrade a 177 hub from 11-Speed HG to XDR. You need not convert to thru-axle at the same time. QR XDR is available.
