Roller Derby Drill: Fill The Gap 4 Lane Drill

From @rollercon 2019’s “Fill the Gap” Class. - This is one of my favorite classes to teach because most blockers / defensive teams are so hesitant to do this but it’s extremely effective when done well and within the confines of the rules. - It takes finesse, hustle, and strength to beat your opponent to a spot your’e both trying to get to and then to be able to STOP them at that spot. - BUT, if you don’t practice how to do it and figure out where the line between penalty and no penalty is, the jammer will likely win.
