Christopher Bassett and Gerry Pagano perform the World Premiere Recording of Adrienne Albert's "Tango Para Dos Bassos." This piece was commissioned by Christopher Bassett and Gerry Pagano in January 2022 and premiered at the Santa Fe Trombone Summit on July 27th, 2022. Located in scenic Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the Santa Fe Trombone Summit is a multi-day trombone seminar providing a unique one-on-one, high intensity, select size Participant group allowing for an in depth and personal experience. Hosted by the Santa Fe Trombones, Participants have the opportunity to play with and for all Faculty and Guest Artists in masterclasses, sectionals, quartet coachings and sit-ins. In addition, Auditors join Participants in warm up sessions, lectures, panel discussions, and select pieces in our trombone choir with a performance on the final concert. To set us apart even more, attendees are invited to participate with the faculty in outdoor recreation opportunities in the Santa Fe area, along with team building events and group meals.
