The Wonderful Wooden Features of Vancouver Island | MTB Ride @ Cumberland in BC Canada

I made the trek in the van out to Vancouver Island earlier this year to a great little community called Cumberland. Not only were there a bunch of great trails here, but there was a ton of people out enjoying them. I stayed on the more mellow trails, but was plenty surprised at the upper sections having a bunch of cool wooden features and some light tech. The bottom section was a bit more XC feeling but still enjoyable. Some day I'll have to get back out here to check out some of the gnarlier trails. On my way out, I also picked up a new bike, a Forbidden Dreadnought, who's company's name comes from the Forbidden Plateau trail system just next door to Cumberland. 00:00 Highlights 01:01 Intro 02:04 Fire Road 02:57 Sobo No Michi (Climbing Trail) 04:21 Upper Thirsty Beaver 07:04 Lower Thirsty Beaver 10:09 Old Vanilla 13:02 Blue Collar 17:08 Trestle 17:27 Upper Crafty Butcher 18:29 Middle Crafty Butcher 19:20 Lower Crafty Butcher 20:21 Space Nugget Intro Song (Opal by Goblin Ghoul) Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/52reHH...
