As of right now, Aemond has taken her mother's dragon AND Luke – her fiance. They're also the ones who can best understand what's it like living as a Targaryen without a dragon (Aemond being bullied, Rhaena ignored by her father). I seriously hope that in season 2 Rhaena gets more screen time! Story summary: As children Aemond and Rhaena bond over not having dragons and Aemond likes her. But things change when he claims Vhagar and becomes cruel to her and her family. Rhaena and the blacks move to Dragonstone only to return years later all grown up. Feelings start stirring up even though they hate each other. The more they start spending time together, the more their feelings develop, but Rhaena gets betrothed to Lucerys. This sends Aemond off the deep end (Luke not only took his eye but now Rhaena too). The war begins and Rhaena escapes King's Landing while bonding with a dragon in the dragonpit. She is finally a dragonrider.
