In winter, honeybees need to be fed with food dough. Beekeepers can, of course, buy it from a specialist retailer or simply make it themselves. I really enjoy making the food dough myself. It's fun and also saves money. However, making it is quite a sticky affair, as the food dough consists of honey and powdered sugar.
