We also encourage them to revisit their economic policies, especially since they often describe themselves as better managers of the economy. We do not live on inflation on paper; we live on good soup and akple. A bit of inflation can act as a stimulus in the economy. The NDC told us in plain language that they had the mettle, acumen, and alacrity to turn things around. There is a disconnect, a yawning chasm, between what is on the government’s paper and what is happening on the ground, and the government must feel compelled to bridge that gap.
