It is characterized by a manji pattern with small triangular accents. By changing the braiding method and combinations of the Suehiro unit, you can make a wide variety of boxes. It is made using a total of eight pieces of origami paper: four pieces for the box body and four pieces for the lid. Even thin origami paper will result in a sturdy finish. Since the back of the origami paper will be visible in the small accent parts, it is also a good idea to use double-sided colored origami paper.
