Brave Girl Camp UWC Short Course 2024

Brave Girl is a week-long residential empowerment camp in Eswatini, open to 60 female high school students, including refugees and girls from rural communities. The 2025 Brave Girl Camp will take place on 10–17 August, 2025 on the Waterford Kamhlaba Campus. It is organised and run by 20 students from Waterford Kamhlaba from all over the world, as well as 5 staff members from various departments. During Brave Girl, campers engage in discussions surrounding girl empowerment, with a focus on education, career planning, financial literacy, as well as sexual reproductive health (SRH), mental health and wellness, sports and the arts, developing sisterhood relationships, self-defence and many others.
