Horno Casero: Fundición de Aluminio para la Caja de Cambios de una Kawasaki Eléctrica

In this video, I take the project to the next level. I build a homemade furnace using burning charcoal and pressurized air to melt engine pistons into liquid aluminum and transform them into a real part for the gearbox of my electric Kawasaki. The part itself isn't anything spectacular, but it's key for the bike to work: an aluminum sheet that will seal the gearbox and which will later be precision machined to fulfill its final function. This process is part of a larger project: creating and manufacturing real parts, from the molten metal to the final machining, all done at home.
