I Bought the Tuner Car Nobody My Age Wants...

I bought a Honda Jazz. No, not a Type R. Not an S2000. Not an EP3. A 100 horsepower, pensioner-spec Honda Jazz... and I genuinely think it might be one of the best car purchases I've ever made. After my 90hp Honda Civic track project decided to break just two days before an 800-mile road trip to the south of France, I had to find a cheap, reliable daily driver—fast. A frantic search on Facebook Marketplace later, and I was driving home in this little Honda. But here's the thing… The Honda Jazz (or Honda Fit, depending on where you're watching from) has become something of a cult hero among enthusiasts. Underneath the sensible exterior is a lightweight Honda chassis, a rev-happy engine, a manual gearbox and an incredible amount of practicality. It's the sort of car that looks boring until you actually drive one. In this video: Why I bought a Honda Jazz instead of something obvious A full tour of my £2,000 bargain 1,600 miles across Europe in comfort Why the Jazz has genuine grassroots motorsport potential Why this definitely won't be staying standard… Future plans including modifications and even a track day The Honda Civic isn't going anywhere—we've got plenty more upgrades and track days planned—but this little Jazz is joining the fleet, and I have a feeling it's going to become a fan favourite. If you enjoy budget builds, grassroots motorsport, Honda projects, JDM culture, track days, analogue driving and the philosophy of slow car fast, you're in the right place. 👍 Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe, and let me know: what's the first modification this Jazz needs?
