How to make encaustic wax medium

Hello Friends and welcome back to my weekly art vlog. After colour-swatching my new encaustic wax paints last week I thought I would show you how I make my encaustic medium base. This is how I make encaustic medium ready to add colour. I make a lot of my own art supplies and making encaustic medium is by far the easiest art supply to make. Making your own encaustic wax medium is also very cost-effective and will save you money compared to a brand like R&F encaustic medium. Encaustic medium is made of only 2 ingredients. Bleached Beeswax and Damar Resin.
