Is the 2025 Audi RS3 BETTER than the 2024 Model?

👋 Now with the 2025 Audi RS3 receiving a facelift, lets take a look at this very nice spec Kyalami Green 2025 RS3 alongside our 2024 RS3. Both of these are part of the 8Y generation and the 2025 is a mid cycle refresh. On the outside, the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned to be a bit sharper looking. New wheel options and the carbon package has a slightly different look compared to the. original. For the interior on the 2025 RS3, you'll find a flat bottom and flat top steering wheel with red RS icons and haptic buttons for the screen and audio controls. Screens themselves are slightly different too. You'll see a semi gloss grey for the door handles, grab handles and air vents. While the 2024 has silver interior trim and handles with satin soft touch black on the grab handle s and air vents. The 2024 RS3 has 401 horsepower while the 2025 has 394. Not enough to be a noticeable difference, but odd to see a slight decrease. Overall driving the 2025 Audi RS3 back to back with the 2024 is slightly different. Fundamentally they are 95% the same car. The 2025 RS3 seems to have a slightly nicer steering feel, but not by much. You'll still feel that FWD biased AWD system along with the wider front track. Slow speed I feel like the 2025 RS3 transmission is a bit smoother and the suspension might be slightly softer in comfort mode. Our 2024 has the midpipes and AWE exhaust and it sounds amazing! Big difference in sound compared to the 2025 RS3 equipped with RS Performance exhaust and midpipes. So overall I think Audi did a good facelift for the 2025 Audi RS3 giving it a slightly sharper front and rear bumper design along with a bit nicer interior with some new trim accents. Driving wise the 2025 feels just a tad bit better overall. So I wouldn't say it's a big enough change to want to sell a original 8Y RS3 for the 8.5Y RS3. But if you are in the market and a brand new 2025 RS3 is something you can get your hands on, you'll love the car! You'll love any RS3 since they are a blast to drive and great small sedans. But cool to see the new changes for the 2025 Audi RS3. Also this was super cool seeing our 2024 Turbo Blue RS3 alongside the Kyalami Green 2025 RS3. What a nice color pallet Audi offers!
