Colored Pencil Test in Creative Haven Coloring Book | Faber-Castell, Woomer, Crayola, Arrtx & More

After showing my Creative Haven coloring book collection (   • Rank My Creative Haven Coloring Books | Co...  ), I decided to pick a page to test the colored pencil sets I have and see what works best on Creative Haven's paper. I chose the page from Jessica Mazurkiewicz's Fantastic Floral Wreaths because I love her linework, and the tulip floral wreath page was perfect to do the colored pencil test. I based the leaves using Ohuhu alcohol markers to test whether the pencils behave differently with or without an alcohol-marker layer. After conducting the test, I was impressed by the vibrancy of the Woomer colored pencils. The Faber-Castell Polychromos somehow performed nearly the worst in this test. I am guessing the paper prefers wax-based colored pencils. Castle Arts Gold pencils produced the most crumbs on this paper, which I hadn't noticed before, even though I use the pencils regularly.
