Mau humor que não passa? Pode ser distimia

Do you know someone who is very grumpy? That person may be ill. Today we're going to talk about dysthymia, or rather, persistent depressive disorder, which differs from regular depression. First of all, know that this disorder is persistent. It lasts at least two years – and throughout life the person never gets rid of the symptoms. It's also different from recurrent depression, which we've already discussed on this channel. In this dysthymic condition, the person is constantly in a bad mood. They go at most two months without symptoms. These symptoms, by the way, are different from those of depression. The person lacks energy, becomes more negative, pessimistic, and grumpy, but the signs are less intense than those of depression. People label someone with dysthymia as grumpy, after all, it's very common for the problem to start early in a person's life and accompany them for many years. I explain in the video how we usually discover dysthymia in the office. The best thing that can happen to someone with dysthymia is to develop more severe depression. I say it's the best because by treating depression, we bring back a positive condition and a significant improvement in quality of life. That's when it dawns on them that dysthymia could be the reason that led this person to live so poorly. Estimates show that this disorder can affect 0.5% to 1.5% of the population, imagine that. Therefore, I ask that you share this video so that more people know that they can get rid of dysthymia. And send your questions here, and I'll answer them in the videos. ------------------------------- You can find me on my social media: -- Facebook:   / danielbarrospsiquiatra   -- Instagram:   / danielmbarros   -- Twitter:   / danielmbarros   Daniel Martins de Barros RQE 62264 CRM/SP 100.674 Facebook: Daniel Barros Psiquiatra Instagram: @danielmbarros Twitter: @danielmbarros Daniel Martins de Barros RQE 62264 CRM/SP 100.674
