Maldivas 🇲🇻 Islas Locales | Paraíso Submarino

The Maldives, a geographically isolated place throughout its history. Resorts and more resorts, but there's an even better part, in my opinion, of this country: The local islands. To truly see what these atolls are like and what they were like, visiting one of these islands where the locals live reveals the reality, not the false appearance of a tourist resort, where you're isolated from the traditional culture. Diving on its coral reefs is wonderful, an incredible biodiversity where we saw sharks, rays, turtles, lobsters, moray eels, fish of all shapes and colors... We'll talk to people from the small island where we stayed, which is less than 1 km² in area. The food surprised us and was very affordable; we ate incredibly fresh fish and seafood. With such great company, I'll share my perspective of this paradise, along with a short guide to some of the local islands we visited: Dhigurah and Omadhoo. I'll cherish this Maldives adventure forever! 🎒 Honest advice: if you're going to travel, make sure you have reliable travel insurance ✅ I use IATI | Here's my link with a 5% discount: https://www.iatiseguros.com?r=6310772...
