Como Hacer Coricos /Biscochuelos De Maíz Muy Fácil !!

Hi! Today we're making Sinaloa-style corn coricos, or sponge cakes, I'm not sure what they're called. It's an easy recipe and they turn out really delicious. A shout-out to my friend from Sinaloa who shared the recipe with me, though I made a few changes and they came out super tasty. By the way, greetings to everyone who knows how to make coricos, my respects. Ingredients: 4 1/2 cups Maseca (corn flour) 1 small teaspoon of salt (or a coffee measuring cup, but be careful not to add too much salt) 2 teaspoons of baking powder 250g (8 oz) of vegetable shortening or butter 125g (1 oz) of sugar or to taste 2 eggs (optional) Piloncillo syrup or milk, as needed A little extra flour or Maseca Don't forget to preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), then lower it to 325°F (160°C). If you live in Mexico, use your local oven temperature. #easyrecipes #coricos #cookies
