旅の自転車はランドナー？クロスバイク？ロードバイクじゃダメなのか？

What kind of bike should you use for your trip? It's a question that surprisingly isn't discussed. Will you ride overseas, domestically, or even domestically, traveling around Japan for six months or so? Or crossing Honshu in a month? It also depends on how long and how far you plan to ride. In the past, randonneur bikes were the go-to bike for travel, but domestically, road bikes are also a good option. Attaching a carrier to a road bike is difficult, but one option is to lighten your load and carry everything in a backpack. If you don't mind drop handlebars, cross bikes are an excellent, inexpensive touring bike. Personally, I find cross bikes the easiest to recommend as touring bikes. They're surprisingly versatile, aren't they?
