The Indian Himalayas showed no mercy – 40 km of climbing, 2,300 m of elevation gain, a blazing sun at its zenith, and a warning from the locals: "Be careful, bears are coming out here." But this section is more than just another stage of the journey. This is the day the trip took on a new meaning.
