Poziom Zero Budynku !!! - Jak Go Ustalić ??? / Budowa Domu - Fundamenty (Część 4/47)

Our second channel: https://www.youtube.com/@BudowaDomuJe... My website: http://www.BudowaDomuJednorodzinnego.pl/ Remove the string from the side edge and stretch it along the front wall. From the corner, measure the dimension from the design. In our case, it's 5.50. This is the face of the inner wall. The wall will be 25 cm, which we mark with another rod. From the second corner, measure the wall thickness, i.e., 25 cm. The distance between them should now be 4.25 cm, which is the same as in the design. Everything is correct here, so we do the same on the other side of the trench. First, stretch the auxiliary string. Now we can mark the wall on the other side. We do it the same way as before. After marking the inner wall, we check the diagonals of the rectangle. They should be the same. We have a one-centimeter difference, but we're not concerned about that. We'll make the final adjustments on the wire bases we'll be making now. For this, we'll need a level. If you've never used a level before, I'll show you what it looks like and how to transfer levels with it. The level we use is from Nivel System, and its exact designation is N24x. This level costs around 750 PLN and comes with a tripod and staff. The entire set looks like this. Of course, we can always transfer levels on the construction site using a water level, which is also a good solution, and much cheaper. However, a level makes it easier and can save a lot of time. We'll now be determining the ground level of our construction, and this example will show you how to use it. To make things clear, the ground level of the new building will be the same as the existing house. So, let's move on to transferring it. First, we prepare a wooden staff on which we will mark this level. We sharpen one end so that it can be driven into the ground. This staff is driven into the edge of the trench. Next, we unfold the leveling tripod. Its legs have spikes that should be driven into the ground. This will ensure it won't shift. We place the leveling device on the tripod head and secure it with the appropriate screw from the bottom. We don't tighten it completely, as we first need to align the leveling device horizontally. A ring level located on the side is used for this purpose. To avoid having to look at it from above, a mirror is mounted here to aid leveling. Looking into the mirror, we position the air bubble exactly in the center of the ring. You can see how this looks in this shot. After initial leveling, we tighten the screw at the bottom. The second step of leveling involves maintaining the level along the entire axis of rotation. Therefore, we turn the level in the other direction and check the eyelet. Now we precisely set it using the three adjustable feet. We rotate the level in three directions and precisely level it. This step is very important, as it determines whether the level will be transferred correctly. Now we begin to extend the leveling staff. The maximum length of the staff can be extended to 5 meters, as shown in this shot. With everything prepared, we place the staff in the location where we want to transfer the level. In our case, we want to transfer the ground level of the existing building, so we place the staff on the front steps. We place a two-centimeter board under it, as the floor in the house is that much higher. With the staff in place, we aim the leveling staff at it. We do this initially with the notch located on the top of the housing. After aiming at the staff, we look through the telescope. We adjust the focus using the large knob on the right. Using the smaller knob, we precisely move the level to the right or left, so that the crosshairs are exactly on the staff. See what it looks like from the inside. Here, we have the crosshairs, which indicate the dimensions of 99 cm and 6 mm. We note this measurement. Now, we transfer the staff to the trench. We place it against the stake driven into the ground and aim the level at it, just like before. We focus and read the measurement on the staff. This transfers the zero level to the trench. At this point, we can place a screw, which will serve as a benchmark. We will place the leveling staff on it and create wire footings in the future. For now, we need the zero level to measure the trench depth. For example, we'll show you a sheet of paper with the foundation drawn. The stairs will be 30 cm high, the foundation 56 cm, the strip footing 35 cm, and the thin footing 9 cm. This makes a total of 130 cm, and we need to excavate to this depth. Our ground level is 124 cm, so we need to deepen it by another 6 cm. We remove the soil with a shovel, marking the exact level. Now everything is correct. #housebuilding #foundations #leveler
