The GREATEST Home Run Derby Performance of ALL-TIME! | Josh Hamilton 2008 1st Round EXPLOSION
First of all, I do want to confirm that Hamilton did not win this contest, and that honor goes to Justin Mourneau. Hamilton ran out of gas in the 2nd round, and Mourneau ran with it. Enough of that...this was still the greatest HR Derby performance of all-time by Hamilton. A feel-good story coming in, Hamilton was a former number 1 overall pick that let a drug addiction get in the way of him reaching his full potential. That changed in the 2008 season, where he led the league with 95 RBI heading into the all-star break. Hamilton hit a record 28 homeruns at old Yankee stadium on this night, and it will certainly forever be remembered in MLB history. ------------------------------------------- Follow us on Social Media!
