Located right by the Medan Tuanku Monorail station and tucked behind the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, this area, often known as ""The Row KL"", is a charming stretch of colonial-style buildings filled with atmospheric restaurants, boutiques, and beautiful murals. The neighborhood has such a lovely community vibe; on weekends, they often host craft markets. If you’re visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, I highly recommend a Perfect Weekend Routine: start with a morning yoga session, do some craft shopping, and then head over to the legendary Yut Kee Restaurant for a classic Hainanese-style Chinese breakfast. If you’re here in the evening, grabbing an authentic Neapolitan pizza at Heritage Pizza KL is a must! But the real highlight of this neighborhood? The adorable community cats. 🐈 They don’t have one specific owner, but the whole neighborhood looks after them. You’ll find one or two lounging at almost every storefront, and seeing the same friendly faces every time I visit makes this place feel like home.
